The 7th

Pro Tips
The seventh hole at Lewes Golf Club, a par 5, demands a strategic drive played to the left of the marker post to effectively manage the fairway's camber. The imposing wind turbine beyond the green serves as a crucial visual cue, necessitating a second shot that stays right of its line. For the approach, it's essential to pitch the ball short of the green, as the putting surface slopes significantly from front to back, causing the ball to run away if overshot.

Boundary Stone
This very gnarled weather beaten boundary stone sits just along from the 7th tee, near the hedge separating the 7th fairway from the 6th green. It marks the ancient boundary of the Firle and Glynde Estates which the golf course lies across. There is another stone hidden in the undergrowth to the left of the path that leads down to the hut and the 12th tee.
