Pro Tips
The tee shot needs to negotiate the fairway bunkers either playing past them to the left or if laying up the line is towards the right edge of the right hand of the two. The conservative line for the approach shot is to run it in from the left down the slope to the side of the green.
The Rises
As you stand on the 3rd tee look behind you. In the distance you can see The Rises which are small hills standing in the river valley. The Cluniac monks from the Priory of St. Pancras kept rabbits on the most southerly Rise as the river regularly flooded the area and stopped the rabbits from straying.
